Head Coach: Corbin Calvert
After 10 years as the South JV coach, Corbin now enters his 11th year as the head coach of the South soccer boys team. Corbin went to North Central high school and has coached Cutters soccer for 11 years. Corbin has a E and D coaching license as well as a United Soccer Coaches goalkeeping license. As the JV coach, Corbin had four undefeated seasons including two back-to-back, only two seasons with more than two losses, and two JV Washington tournament championships.
JV Coach: Jake Kabrick
South soccer alumni. Jake was a senior captain on the first ever conference championship team and the first out of eight straight sectional championships. Jake went on to play at Rose Hulman University. After Jake graduated, he moved to Jasper where he was a JV coach for the boys soccer team.
Coach: Sam MacNeil
South soccer alumni. Sam played four years with the girls soccer team. While at South, Sam won three sectional championships, one conference championship, and one regional championship. Sam was also one of the captains her senior year. After high school, Sam went on to play at Saint-Mary-of-the-Woods college where she went to nationals, had the first winning season in program history, 3x USCAA all academic team, two time captain, and current career assist and single season assist leader. Since college, Sam has been an assistant with both the boys and girls South soccer teams, and coaches two Cutters girls teams.
Coach: Ben Lyon
Ben played high school soccer for Westfield high school. He then went on to play at Rose Hulman where he had many accomplishments including first team all-HCAC two years in a row, 19 goals, 5 assists and 43 points, 2x HCAC Player of the Week, and Dean's list honoree. This is Ben's first year as a high school assistant coach.
